Kellogg was also fed during this time, but as he is approaching a shed, he was feeling a little camera shy.

Whether you are a beginner reptile keeper, an experienced reptile keeper, or if you are just wanting to change from a heat mat to a heat bulb, this video is for you.

In this video, I give a basic demonstration on how to wire a heat bulb holder for your reptile's terrarium.

To install it it into the terrarium, drill two holes (not necessarily too deep) into the roof of the terarrium, or, tap a nail with a hammer to create a small hole and then screw in the screws with a screwdriver to mount the holder.

Not the most exciting corn snake feeding video, typically on another day they would be as savage as a shark or a piranha and you would be lucky not to get your hand bitten off.

You may remember in a previous video that I mentioned Mario took his time eating, where as Kellogg gets his meal straight down. Well, this is an example of that...

In this video, I give a guide on how to set up a corn snake terrarium.

I cover the essentials such as the terrarium itself, the size, type of material and assembling, setting up a heat gradient to the required temperature to ensure that your corn snake can regulate it's body temperature correctly. This can be achieved by using a heat lamp or a heat mat. I also give a guide on the different types of substrate, the importance of hides and how many you need, choosing a water bowl and of what size and a thermometer to monitor the temperature within the terrarium.

Also don't forget to add the decor such as plants, logs and bits of wood to make the terrarium look more interesting... Your snake will appreciate this and enjoy it too!

Has your corn snake escaped from it's terrarium? Do NOT panic.

This video is to help you find a lost corn snake. I share my experience on when any of my corn snakes have escaped and how, when and where I found them. This video is also assuming that you know the obvious things like searching out dark hiding places in and around the terrarium, thinking like a snake and that you have already tried these methods.

I have not had many escapes, but when I have, I have always found them in the same place: the back of the fridge. It's not cold at the back of a fridge, it's warm and it's actually a perfect hiding place for a corn snake. So that's where I would recommend looking.

You don't need to look for it over and over again, stress or panic, my first escape was gone for around 2-3 weeks and then returned in the cupboard underneath the terrarium where he escaped. So it's a lot more effective to just wait and be patient.

Well, you have now.

A video today showing you the corn snakes and feeding them, or attempting to feed them.

Mario is approaching a shed at the moment, as you can probably see he is turning a bit of a cloudy colour, so didn't want to eat today, which is normal.

It's good news for Kellogg however, as he gets to enjoy two mice today.

In this video, I give a very basic demonstration on disinfecting a corn snake enclosure. I empty the decor, rinse them with water, spray with disinfectant, re-fill the water bowl and replace the decor.

(Remember to re-rinse the water bowl after spraying with disinfectant)
